Miami based UM Motorcycles’ Indian partner UM Lohia has launched the Renegade Commando Classic and Renegade Commando Mojave at Rs 1.89 lakh and Rs 1.80 lakh ex-showroom Delhi, respectively.
The Commando Classic (featured image) is the flagship offering, and comes with 45+ micron gloss chrome elements, windshield, and a premium saddlebag. There are two color choices for this bike – Candy Metallic Gloss Black and Copper White.
The Commando Mojave gets its name from a Californian desert and sports a military-style look. It gets a zippered pouch, USB charger, and oversized leg guards for safety on long journeys.
Both bikes get a 279.5 cc single-cylinder 4-stroke liquid cooled engine, with an output of 25.15 PS (25 hp) @ 8500 rpm and 23 Nm of torque @ 7000 rpm, paired to a 6-speed gearbox.
Front suspension is a 41 mm hydraulic telescope while the rear is a twin hydraulic with spring. Front brake is a single 280 mm disc with 2-piston caliper while the rear is a 130 mm drum. The bikes weigh 179 kg kerb and fuel tank capacity is 18 litres.
