Renault India has launched the Duster Sandstorm Edition based on the RxS trim, priced at Rs 10,90,400 for the 85 PS variant, and Rs 11,70,400 for the 110 PS variant, both prices ex-showroom Delhi.
The Sandstorm Edition is all about visual upgrades both on the outside and inside. Exterior enhancements include gloss black grille, matt black front armour, body graphics, and Sandstorm decals of course. ‘Zodiac’ 16-inch machined alloys round off the exterior looks.
Interiors get color combination in black & grey, centre console finished in dark chrome, gloss black door trim strip, and grab handle and door handle finished in black. There are new seat covers and floor mat with ‘Sandstorm’ branding. The vehicle is equipped with 7-inch touchscreen and dual front airbags.
There are 3 exterior color choices – Outback bronze, Moonlight Silver and Slate Grey.
The Sandstorm Edition is offered with K9K 1.5-litre dCi diesel engine with two state of tunes. The 85 PS version makes 85 PS (84 hp) @ 3750 rpm and 200 Nm of torque @ 1750 rpm, paired to a 5-speed manual. The 110 PS (108 hp) version makes 110 PS @ 4000 rpm and 245 Nm @ 1750 rpm, paired to a 6-speed manual. Both models come with 2WD configuration.
ARAI rated fuel efficiency for both models is 20 km/l.
