TVS Motor launches Jupiter Classic at Rs 55,266 ex-showroom, Delhi. This new variant of the company’s popular scooter gets visual upgrades, very reminiscent of Italian scooters.
While the windshield, circular chrome mirrors, chrome pillion handle with backrest, dual-tone seat with stitching, instrument cluster design add all the classiness, the front disc brake adds premium-ness as well. More than any of these, it’s the ‘Sunlit Ivory’ paint finish that justifies the name.
The Classic’s mechanicals remain the same as the standard Jupiter. A 109.7 cc single-cylinder 4-stroke engine powers the scooter, producing 8 bhp @ 7,500 rpm and 8.4 Nm of torque @ 5,500 rpm, paired with a CVT.
The Jupiter comes with ‘Sync Braking System’, which automatically activates the front brakes whenever the rear brakes are used, enhancing braking performance of the vehicle. Other features include a key shutter lock, pass-by switch, and parking brake.
