Skoda has launched the Rapid Monte Carlo in India, priced at Rs 10.75 lakh ex-showroom, Delhi. The Monte Carlo is all about the visual upgrades, based on the top-spec Style trim.

The Monte Carlo commands a premium of around Rs 50,000 over the regular Rapid.
For that money, you’ll get the exteriors finished with black roof, black grille, gloss-black ORVMs, Monte Carlo badge on B-pillar, black tailgate spoiler, black diffuser, and 16-inch dual tone alloy wheels.
Interiors get red contrast stitching on the steering wheel and gear knob, Monte Carlo design leatherette seat covers, Monte Carlo design cushion pillows, stainless steel pedals, Monte Carlo design scuff plates, and piano black surrounds for AC vents and centre console.
The Rapid Monte Carlo is available in Red and Candy White exterior colours.
There is no mechanical changes under the hood. The Rapid Monte Carlo is offered with 103 hp 1.6-litre MPI petrol, and 109 hp 1.5-litre TDI diesel engines. The petrol gets an option of 5-speed manual or 6-speed automatic, while the diesel gets 5-speed manual or 7-speed DSG automatic.
