September 2018 update: Jeep Compass Limited Plus launched at Rs 21.07 lakh
While the Jeep Compass was certainly appreciated for its looks, build quality and pricing, there were some features that were missing, which was pointed out by both media fraternity and general public.
One of those features was a sunroof. Well, it appears that Jeep has heard the feedback and decided to include a sunroof along with few more features. A test mule has been spotted at what appears to be around Fiat-Tata Ranjangaon facility in Pune, with sunroof and front parking sensors. The Compass was launched only with the rear parking sensors.
The spotted test vehicle was the top-spec Limited variant and appeared to be 2WD, which could mean that these new features will be offered as options. Another feature that was missing at launch was the rain-sensing wipers, which might also be included as additional features.
