The Octavia RS is coming back and Skoda is busy testing it on the Indian roads. Also coming to India is the Rapid Monte Carlo edition. The company is accepting bookings for both models ahead of the expected launch this month.
Octavia RS
For the Indian market, the Octavia RS will have a choice of two powertrains. The 2.0-litre 4-cylinder TSI petrol motor, producing 169 kW (227 hp), paired to a 6-speed manual or 6-speed DSG, with 4×2 configuration. The diesel is a 2.0 TDI with an output of 135 kW (181 hp), paired to a 6-speed manual or 6-speed DSG. The diesel automatic variant comes with a choice of 4×4 configuration as well. Rapid Monte Carlo
The Rapid Monte Carlo on the other hand features black treatment making it look sporty. Interiors too are expected to feature some visual upgrades.
