Italian motorcycle brand MV Agusta has introduced Brutale 800 in India, priced at Rs 15.59 lakh ex-showroom. The Brutale 800 is seventh offering from the brand, in partnership with Pune-based Kinetic, and is imported to India as Semi-Knocked down (SKD) unit.
Feature list includes full LED headlamps, LED indicators, LCD instrument cluster, 8-level traction control, Bosch ABS, and the three-pipe exhaust.
The Brutale 800 is powered by a 798 cc 3-cylinder engine, producing 109 hp @ 11,500 rpm and 83 Nm of torque @ 7,600 rpm, paired to a 6-speed gearbox.
Front suspension is an upside down forks, 43 mm in diameter, while the rear is a mono, both with rebound-compression damping and spring preload adjustment. Braking duties are handled by 320 mm dual discs at front with 4 piston calipers, while the rear is a single 220 mm disc with 2 piston calipers.
The Italian brand is brought to India by Kinetic, the same people who once made Luna. Mercedes-AMG owns 25% stake in MV Agusta.
