In case you missed the whole thing, exactly 3 months ago, Kia had announced an investment of US$1.1 billion in Andhra Pradesh for a new facility. Now the company has launched the India website, and is looking for future dealers.
The company is conducting a roadshow in 4 cities, starting with Delhi from 8th – 9th August at JW Marriott, followed by Mumbai from 16th – 17th August at ITC Grand Maratha, then Bengaluru from 23 – 24th August at Taj West End, and finally in Kolkata on September 1, 2017 at Taj Bengal. Kia India’s plant is coming up at Anantapur district in Andhra Pradesh with a total area of 536 acres. The plant will have a production capacity of 300,000 units annually. Kia is expected to showcase some of its vehicles at the 2018 Auto Expo near Delhi.
