DSK Group has launched the Benelli 302R in India, priced at Rs 3.48 lakh, ex-showroom. This is DSK Benelli’s fifth offering in India.
Although the 302R is based on the TNT 300, there are some changes. The new Trellis frame is said to be lighter than on the TNT 300. The 300 cc inline 2-cylinder engine is water-cooled compared to the liquid cooling in the TNT 300. Output figures are 38.26 bhp @ 11,500 rpm and 26.5 Nm of torque @ 10,000 rpm, same as the TNT 300. The engine is paired to a 6-speed gearbox.
Front suspension is a 41 mm upside down fork, while the rear is a hydraulic mono. Front brakes are 260 mm dual discs with 4-piston calipers, while the rear is a 240 mm single disc with single piston caliper. ABS is standard.
There are 3 color options to choose from – White Rosso, Red Nero, and Silver Verde.
