Skoda releases a few teaser images of the new compact SUV Karoq, ahead of its full unveil scheduled on May 18th in Stockholm.
So far, we know quite a bit of details of the vehicle. What we didn’t talk previously was that it has got LED ambient lighting, which can be set to one of 10 different colours. Ultra-slim lighting strips are located on the upper edge of the four door trims and continue around the dashboard. Not just the colours, but the brightness can be adjusted as well.
The teaser images reveal the LED headlamps and LED tail lamps which are inspired by the Bohemian glass art, just like all the latest Skoda models. The LED headlamps have eight light strips that make up the ‘eyelashes’ creating a unique lighting pattern. While the full-LED headlamps are optional, LED tail lamps are standard.
We can also see the touchscreen infotainment system in one of the interior teasers. The top-end systems Columbus and Amundsen will have a WLAN hotspot. An optional LTE module is available for the Columbus system. The interior teaser also gives a sneak peek of the digital instrument cluster. Read more about the Karoq here.
