Renault India seems to have silently launched the Duster petrol automatic at Rs 10,32,215, ex-showroom, Delhi. Till now, the automatic variant of Duster was offered only with the diesel engine with 110 PS tune and 2WD configuration.
Unlike the diesel automatic which is a 6-Speed AMT, the petrol is an X-Tronic CVT box which is also used in Micra and Scala. The CVT box gets a 6-Speed manual mode. The petrol automatic gets a new 1.5 litre 4-cylinder H4K unit, producing 106 PS (104.5 hp) of power @ 5600 rpm and 142 Nm of torque @ 4000 rpm. The petrol manual too gets its 1.6 litre (1598 cc) 4-cylinder K4M engine replaced by the 1.5 litre H4K unit.
The petrol automatic will be sold in the RxS trim, and features include a 7-inch MediaNAV touchscreen infotainment system, dual front airbags, ABS, EBD, Brake Assist, Hill-Start Assist, ESP, rear defogger and 16-inch alloy wheels.
There’s a new Fiery Red exterior color.
