Along with the Creta, Hyundai updates the Elite i20 hatchback as well, adding dual tone exterior colours, refreshed interiors and an updated infotainment system. Prices are at the end of the article.
The Elite i20 gets dual tone exterior options, available in Red Passion Body Colour with Phantom Black Roof and Polar White Body Colour with Phantom Black Roof. A new Marina Blue colour joins the options list. Interiors are all-black and get orange accents on the air vents, gear knob and on the seats, adding a premium touch.
Features wise, the Elite i20 gets the same 7-inch touchscreen unit we saw in the updated Creta, which is compatible with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and Mirror Link. The unit also gets satellite-based navigation.
No mechanical changes under the hood. There are three engine choices, the 1.4 U2 CRDi Diesel (90 PS / 4,000 RPM and 220 Nm /1,500-2,750 RPM) that comes with 6-Speed Manual Transmission, 1.2 Kappa Dual VTVT Petrol (83 PS / 6,000 RPM and 115 Nm /4,000 RPM) 5-Speed Manual Transmission and 1.4 Dual VTVT Petrol (100 PS / 6,000 RPM and 132 Nm / 4,000 RPM) that comes in 4-Speed Automatic Transmission.
