Ford India is gearing up to launch a sportier version of the Figo hatchback, likely to be called as Figo S, sometime soon. It is yet to be known if the changes are just cosmetic, or will have something to rival the likes of Baleno RS, Polo GT and Abarth Punto.
Visually, there’ll be a 15-inch black alloy wheels, blacked-out ORVMs, smoked headlamps, black roof, a rear spoiler and a bit of sporty treatment to the bumpers. Interiors will have some sporty look and feel too. The Sporty variant of the Figo might be offered with the 1.5 TDCi diesel and 1.5 Ti-VCT petrol engines. As mentioned earlier, the output of these two engines is yet to be known. However, there might be a revised suspension set up.
