Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has launched the updated Activa i with BS-IV complaint engine at Rs 47,913, ex-showroom, Delhi. The vehicle gets some vibrant dual-tone body colors, body-colored mirrors, Automatic Headlamp On (AHO) and few more features.
The AHO is a Govt mandated feature for two-wheelers effective from April 2017. In this feature, the Headlight will be ON as soon as the engine is started and there is no switch to turn it off. The Activa i also gets Combined Braking System (CBS) with Equalizer, mobile charging socket (optional) and 18 litres of storage space.
A 109.19 cc fan cooled 4-stroke engine powers the Activa i, with an output of 8 bhp @7000 rpm and 8.94 Nm of torque @ 5500 rpm. Transmission is a V-Matic automatic. The scooter claims a max speed of 83 km/h. Tyres are 90/100-10 tubeless ones.
Available in Orchid Purple Metallic, Lush Magenta Metallic, Neo Orange Metallic, Black and Imperial Red Metallic paint job.
