Audi India has added a petrol Q3 to its portfolio for the first time, priced at Rs 32,20,000 ex-showroom, Delhi. The petrol Q3 is available only as a FWD, and features a 1.4-litre TFSI engine.
The 1.4L TFSI engine, also shared with the new A4 and A3 Cabriolet, produces 150 hp between 5,000-6,000 rpm and 250 Nm of torque between 1,500-3,500 rpm in the Q3, and is paired with a 6-speed S tronic automatic transmission.
Commenting on the launch, Rahil Ansari, Head of Audi India, said – “Luxury is about choice and our discerning Audi customers were the driving force behind offering various configurations from which they can choose the best fit. The Audi Q3 model lineup gets strengthened with the introduction of the new Q3 1.4 TFSI FWD. With this addition, we have three new engine options available for our most successful model. The Q3 has been a segment leader ever since its introduction and our best-selling model is therefore even more appealing and bound to attract customers who believe in the ‘Stay Young, Live Big’ philosophy of the Audi Q3.”
Most of the features from the Q3 TDI will make it to the Q3 TFSI as well, including dual-zone climate control, MMI infotainment system, panoramic sunroof, 6 airbags, ABS, ESP and so on.
The Q3 petrol is the only Audi petrol SUV in India.
