The Japanese bloggers have managed to acquire brochures of the next-gen WagonR and WagonR Stingray, ahead of its launch next month. In Japan, the car is available in petrol and hybird (petrol-electric) variants.
The hybrid model is unlikely to make it to India, however, we can have a look at the new design inside-out. Stingray’s headlamps appear to be LEDs. The new design on the inside has a centre mounted instrument cluster with multi information display (MID), and a floating tablet like infotainment system with navigation. The Stingray model gets a heads-up display as well. Don’t miss the dashboard mounted gear lever. Keyless entry, push button start, steering mounted controls as shown in the brochure below might make it to India as well. In Japan, the WagonR gets a 4WD option too.
The next-gen WagonR and WagonR Stingray measures 3,395 mm in length, 1,475 mm in width, and 1,650 mm in height.
