Ford has recently launched the EcoSport Platinum Edition, and one of its standard features is an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Bluetooth, USB, aux connectivity, navigation, radio, DVD player, reverse camera view and door ajar warning.
This infotainment system is not limited to just the Platinum Edition, but one can get it with the top of the line Titanium+ as well. The infotainment works well without any problem whatsoever; there are several settings including brightness adjustment. Bluetooth connectivity is easy, just pair your smartphone and you’re good to go. You can access your phone book, missed calls, dialed numbers and so on. The navigation interface is good too, there is a zoom-in zoom-out function, route planning and travel history. Audio, radio interface is good as well. Other than the infotainment system, the Platinum Edition is the same EcoSport we know and loved so much, except for a few updates and refreshments. There are 17-inch diamond cut alloy wheels, blacked-out roof, cruise control, reversing camera, front and rear bumper appliques as standard.
