Japan spec 2017 Suzuki Swift brochure surfaces online revealing the full design of the car and its details. The car can now be seen in all the angles, including the rear design. The brochure reveals its interiors too. As seen in the earlier spy shots, the 4th generation Swift in Japan will have a mild hybrid option. The 2017 Suzuki Swift is available in 6 trims in Japan – ML (Hybrid), XL, XG, RS (Hybrid), RSt, RS. There is a 1.2 litre naturally aspirated and 1.0 litre turbocharged petrol engines with 5 Speed manual, CVT and 6 Speed AT options. The Hybrid variant will have a 1.2 litre engine. Interestingly, the Japanese Swift gets a 4WD option as well.
However, for India, the company is likely to continue the 1.2 litre petrol and 1.3 DDiS diesel options. A SHVS mild-hybrid technology is expected as well. The car is expected to be unveiled for the Japanese market on December 27th this year, and globally at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show.
