Audi has appointed Rahil Ansari as the new head of its India subsidiary – Audi India Pvt Ltd, effective February 1, 2017. Rahil was the head of global pricing for Audi genuine parts at Audi AG, and replaces Joe King, who has returned to Germany after completing 3 years.
“He has previously served as Director of Network Development for Audi India and thus brings appreciation for this market. I am confident that his diverse global experience combined with the understanding of the Indian market will help to consolidate the brand presence,” said Thierry Lespiaucq, Managing Director, Volkswagen Group Sales India Private Limited.

Until Rahil takes his office, Thierry Lespiaucq will be the interim head of Audi India.
Rahil has worked for varied domains including finance, sales, network development, retail operations and aftersales as well.
Audi India’s portfolio has A3, A3 Cabriolet, A4, S5 Sportback, A6, A8L, Q3, Q5, Q7, RS 6 Avant, RS 7 Sportback, RS 7 Sportback Performance, R8 V10 Plus, R8 Spyder and TT.
