Unveiled to public at Paris Motor Show, Skoda’s first SUV – Kodiaq is all set to hit the UK market next month, with prices starting from £21,495 OTR (Approx Rs 17.5 lakhs). Available in five trims S, SE, SE (7 Seater), SE L and Edition. The top of the line diesel will cost £34,895.
Skoda Kodiaq is offered with 3 engine options in UK. The 1.4 TSI with 125 PS or 150 PS. While the 125 PS version is a 2WD and is offered with 6 Speed Manual, the 150 PS variant can be had either as a 2WD with 6 Speed Manual, or 4WD with 6 Speed Manual, or 4WD with 6 Speed DSG. There is also a 2.0 TSI on offer, producing 180 PS, and comes mated to a 7 Speed DSG and 4WD hardware.
On the diesel side, There is a 2.0 TDI with 3 states of tune. 115 PS, 150 PS and 190 PS. The 115 PS variant is offered only with a 6 Speed Manual, the 150 PS variant can be had either as 4WD with 6 Speed Manual, 2WD with 7 Speed DSG or 4WD with 7 Speed DSG. The 190 PS comes with 7 Speed DSG and 4WD.
The Skoda Kodiaq comes equipped with all the bells and whistles one can expect from an SUV of this class. Kit list includes leather/alcantara interiors, 8 inch touchscreen, dual-zone climate control, rain & light sensors, cruise control, tinted windows, rear parking sensors, auto-dimming mirrors, 19 inch rims and generous amount of safety kit, such as High Beam Assist, Lane Assist, and Blind Spot Detection.
