The second generation Toyota Fortuner, which is already on sale in many international markets will hit the Indian market on November 7th.
Toyota didn’t bring the new Fortuner to Auto Expo earlier this year, which made everyone believe the company might not have any plans this year. However, Toyota decided to give a surprise.
Its very likely that the new Fortuner will share the engines from Innova Crysta, the 2.4 and 2.8 litre GD diesel, but with a higher state of tune. Transmission options will be 6 Speed manual or 6 Speed auto, and like the outgoing model, the new Fortuner will have 4WD or 2WD options.
