Honda launches the Brio facelift with prices starting at Rs 4.69 lakhs, ex-showroom, Delhi. The facelift gets similar changes to its sedan counterpart – Amaze. Changes on the exterior are blacked-out grille with chrome lining on the bottom, smoked out headlamps and a new bumper design. While the side profile remains unchanged, the rear end gets new tail-lamps and a tailgate spoiler with LED stop lamp.
The interiors are similar to the new Amaze with all black dashboard and all black interior, the lower trims get beige fabrics. It also gets a new instrument cluster, digital AC controls, and a 2DIN integrated audio system with USB, AUX, Bluetooth connectivity and hands-free telephony.
No changes on the engine options. The new Brio continues to offer 1.2 litre 4 Cyl i-VTEC petrol engine producing 85 ps and 109 Nm of torque. There is a choice of 5 Speed Manual or a 5 Speed auto (only for VX). Fuel economy is claimed at 18.5 km/l and 16.5 km/l for the manual and automatic variants, respectively. Safety features include dual front airbags, ABS+EBD, and seatbelt pre-tensioners with load limiters.
