Import data from Zauba reveals that JLR India has imported 1 unit of Range Rover Evoque Convertible for homologation purposes, suggesting that the launch might be just around the corner. The drop-top SUV has already been listed in Land Rover India’s official website and was also spotted in Chennai earlier this year.
The Evoque Convertible is powered by a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine producing 241 hp and 340 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission and features a permanent 4WD system. The roof can be operated at speeds of up to 48 km/h. While the regular Evoque retails at Rs 48 lakh ex-showroom, Delhi, the convertible is expected to be priced somewhere between Rs 65-70 lakh ex-showroom.
