Hyundai India has opened an inquiry form in its website, and have released a couple of teaser videos of the new Hyundai Elantra which is expected to go on sale on 23rd of this month. The car which has been spotted testing in India numerous times, will enter the market next week.
The new Elantra in its sixth generation was unveiled back in 2015 at Hyundai’s Global R&D center in Namyang, South Korea where it is known as the Avante. Globally, the car comes with 4 petrol and 1 diesel engine options. Transmission options include 6 Speed manual, 6 Speed automatic and a 7 Speed DCT. India will most likely get 1.6 or 2.0 litre petrol and 1.6 litre diesel power plants with 6 Speed manual and 7 Speed DCT.
