Despite the diesel ban in Delhi-NCR and few regions of Kerala, the new Innova Crsyta is topping the charts with bookings crossing over 30,000 and the number of sales increasing day by day. The Innova Crysta found 8,171 buyers in June, making it the best selling utility vehicle in India for the second month in a row. TKM had sold 7,259 units of the Innova Crysta in May. Same time last year, the company sold 5,028 and 4,144 units for the month of May and June respectively.
Now the company is all set to introduce petrol variant of the Innova Crysta and the advertisements are already floating on the news papers. The deliveries of the petrol variant will begin from August 2016. With the introduction of petrol variant, the sales figures are expected to grow even further since Delhi-NCR is one of the key markets for Toyota.
The Innova Crysta petrol will be powered by a 2.7 litre 4 Cyl engine, and will produce 164 bhp @ 5200 RPM and 250 Nm of torque @ 4000 RPM. The engine is expected to be coupled with both five-speed manual and six-speed automatic transmission. Similar to the diesel counterparts, the Innova Crysta petrol will be available in G, V and Z trims.
