Toyota launches the much awaited Innova Crysta in India at Rs 13.84 lakhs (ex-showroom, Mumbai). Will be offered in four manual trims (ZX, VX, GX & G) and two automatic trims (ZX & GX), and the price goes all the way upto Rs 20.77 lakhs.
The new Innova Crysta will come with two diesel engine options. The 2.4 litre diesel producing 147 bhp and 343 Nm of torque, and is mated to a 5 Speed manual transmission. The 2.8 litre diesel produces 171 bhp and 360 Nm of torque, and comes with a 6 Speed automatic transmission. No petrol option. Toyota claims that the new GD diesel engines are 10% more fuel efficient than the previous ones.

Key Features –
Based on an all new Toyota New Global Architecture (TNGA) platform, the new Innova Crysta is loaded with features. The key features include 4.2-inch TFT Multi Information Display, 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with DVD player and navigation, dedicated AC vents for the second and third row, 20 bottle holders, ambient lighting, cruise control and electrically-adjustable driver seat. On the safety front, Toyota Innova Crysta gets three airbags (front driver, front passenger, and driver knee) and ABS with EBD as a standard provision across all trims. The top of the line trim gets 7 airbags: driver, front passenger, driver knee, front side and curtain shield airbags.
