Audi is unveiling the 2017 A5 Coupé on June 2 at the company’s headquarters in Ingolstadt, Germany. Recent spy photos and teaser images have already given an idea of what the updated Coupé is gonna look like.
As the teaser images suggest, the new A5 Coupé will have different headlamp design compared to its siblings, especially the A4. The 2017 A5 Coupé is based on MLB EVO platform, and is said to be 100 Kg lighter than the outgoing model.
Audi hosted a 3D video mapping light show at the Audi Forum Ingolstadt in advance of the world premiere of the new Audi A5 Coupé, from May 25th to May 30th to the public. Visitors enjoyed a light show by a Hungarian group of artists “Maxin10sity.” The 2,300-square-meter surface of the building on the Audi Piazza was transformed into a unique work of art during the “Audi Late Light Show.”
