Hyundai India has launched a limited special edition Xcent to mark it’s 20 years of operation in India. Spy shots were surfaced online of the special edition recently revealing the details, and now the car is on sale at an additional cost of Rs 16,999. The special edition Xcent is priced at Rs 6.22 lakh for the petrol and Rs 7.15 lakh for the diesel, all prices, ex-showroom, Delhi. Point to be noted is this special edition is available only in the mid “S” trim.
The changes are subtle, on the outside its gets chrome garnishing on the hexagonal grille, side body graphics, on the rear there’s a “20th Anniversary Special Edition” badge and a reflector strip on the boot lid.
On the inside, the limited edition gets a black and red dual-tone fabric upholstery and a 6.2 inch Blaupunkt touchscreen infotainment system, the standard car has beige and black upholstery and a 2-DIN audio system.
This special edition Xcent is available in two colour options – Pure White and Sleek Silver, and there’s no mechanical changes whatsoever, and comes with the same powertrains as its regular sibling, the 1.2 litre petrol and 1.1 litre diesel.
The Xcent special edition is limited to 2,400 units.
