Mahindra and Mahindra announced that the W6 variant of XUV 500 is now available with automatic transmission at Rs 14.29 lakhs, ex-showroom, Mumbai. The W6 variant is an entry-mid level variant, placed above W4, which now gets a 6 Speed automatic transmission sourced from Aisin, a subsidiary of Toyota Group. Earlier the automatic options were limited to W8, W10 FWD & W10 AWD models.

The W6 variant misses out on several creature comforts, however it gets 7″ touch screen infotainment system, voice command, dual airbags, ABS+EBD, automatic climate control, cruise control and some more.
