Recap: Another fresh looking sub-4 meter compact sedan that was unveiled at the Auto Expo 2016 was Chevrolet Essentia. It is expected to go on sale in India next year, that is 2017. It’ll be put into production at GM’s Talegaon plant next year.
The Essentia and Beat Activ were specifically designed to suit the tastes and needs of the discerning Indian consumer while also ensuring strong global appeal, at the GM Korea Design Studio
Designed in direct response to consumer demand for passenger cars that offer a combination of value, space and technology, the Essentia has functionality and style at its core. It strikes the perfect balance between personality and practicality, content and luxury.
GM also said that the Essentia will have state-of-the-art connectivity and technology, including Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and Chevrolet’s latest MyLink infotainment system.
