Tata Motors has unveiled couple of pictures of its upcoming hatchback Zica.
Codenamed Kite, the Zica follows new design language which makes it look a little different from Zest and Bolt. Although the lower chrome line running into the headlamps reminds the Zest.
“It is the new Zippy Car- Zica! Engineered on a new platform, Zica comes with innovative and fresh design language and cutting edge driving dynamics for India’s global citizens”. Said a company statement.
The Zippy-Car Zica will take on the likes of Maruti’s Celerio. Zica will be powered by in-house developed, naturally-aspirated 1.2-litre petrol motor which produces 84hp and 110nm of torque and 1.0-litre diesel motor producing 69hp and 140nm of torque. Both engines are mated to a 5 Speed manual gearbox. Tata is likely to launch the new Zica by early January 2016 at an expected price tag of Rs 4 lakh.
