Jaguar Land Rover, a Tata Motors subsidiary launches the much awaited 2016 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque at Rs 47.1 lakh, ex-showroom Mumbai. Bookings for this new 2016 Evoque were commenced on 23rd October across all JLR dealerships in India.
The new 2016 Range Rover Evoque comes in 4 trims and prices are as mentioned below –
Pure – Rs 47.1 lakh
SE – Rs 52.9 lakh
HSE – Rs 57.7 lakh
HSE Dynamic – Rs 63.2 lakh
All prices are ex-showroom, Mumbai.
The SUV gets changes both on exterior and interiors and some added features.
Changes include revised bumpers, new mesh grille, restyled full LED adaptive headlamps and more angled DRLs, new skid plate and slightly revised fog lamps to add to its stylish look. Not much changes on the side, except for the few tweaks to door mirrors and alloy wheels. At the back, the vehicle gets new graphics for tail lamps.
Coming to the interiors, the 2016 Range Rover Evoque gets slightly revised instrument cluster that houses new clocks, The infotainment system here features a new 8-inch touchscreen display. Other changes include new door casings, new seats, leather wrapped steering wheel and door panels.
Engine –
The 2016 Range Rover Evoque for India gets the same Ford sourced 2.2 litre turbocharged diesel engine that powers the previous model. The engine is capable of producing 188bhp of power and 420Nm of torque and is mated to ZF sourced 9 Speed automatic. The overseas version, however, gets JLR’s very own Ingenium units. The vehicle gets All-Terrain Progress Control System. The dimensions of the vehicle remains unchanged.
