After the Mercedes-Benz India’s official launch in Delhi, Sundram Motors of Bangalore launches the new Mercedes-Benz GLE SUV at their beautiful showroom in the heart of the city which also has the AMG Performance Center.
The event was attended by invitees and few fans. Mr NA Harris, MLA, Shantinagar Constituency unveiled the car.
The SUV is an upgraded version of ML-Class which is now named as GLE-Class, launched at the price tag of INR 58.9 lac (ex-Delhi).
The new GLE-Class is offered with the wide variety of engines internationally but for India, it will get only two engine options. The 2.1 litre motor in GLE 250d can deliver the power output of 201 bhp and peak torque of 500 Nm, while on the other hand, the 3.0 litre V6 mill in GLE 350d churns out power of 254bhp with top torque of 620Nm. It comes mated to 9G-TRONC auto box. Price for the GLE 250d is INR 58.9 lac while the price for GLE 350d is tagged at Rs. 69.9 lac.
