The cumulative sales of Vitara Brezza has touched 4 lakh units in less than 3 years. The sub-4 m compact crossover was launched in March 2016, and currently holds over 44% market share in its segment.
Brezza’s year-to-date sales growth is 7% with a monthly average of 14,675 units, of which, the AGS variant (AMT) launched in May 2018 comprises of 20%. Ever since its launch, the Brezza offers only one powerplant, the 1.25-litre (1,248 cc) 4-cylinder DDiS 200 diesel engine with 89 bhp and 200 Nm.
“Vitara Brezza with its sporty and glamourous traits has struck the right chord with Indian customers. The dual-tone colour option in Vitara Brezza is highly appreciated by its customers,” said R S Kalsi, Senior Executive Director (Marketing and Sales), MSIL.
As for safety, the Brezza offers dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, seat belt reminder for both driver & front passenger, front seat belt pre-tensioner & force limiter, and ISOFIX mounts as standard across the range.
