Although the Lexus LC debuted with a yellow color, the limited edition here sports a warmer Vibrant Flare Yellow paintwork. The Yellow Edition is offered on the Sport+ trim.
On the exterior, the car gets 21-inch forged alloy wheels, carbon fibre reinforced plastic (CFRP) roof and an active rear spoiler.
The special color theme continues through to the interiors, where the black door panels are enhanced by warm yellow Alcantara inserts. The warm yellow shade is also featured in contrast stitching details on the white leather seats, instrument panel, steering wheel and the arm rest, showcasing the takumi craftsmanship.
More features include a head-up display, carbon fibre scuff plates, Alcantara headlining and 10-way power adjustment for the seats that are upholstered in semi-aniline leather.
The Sport+ specification also includes Lexus Dynamic Handling and Variable Gear Ratio Steering (VGRS) with four-wheel steering, and a Torsen limited-slip differential. The aforementioned spoiler automatically deploys at speeds above 80 km/h.
No mechanical changes. The LC Coupe is available with a 477 hp 5.0L V8 (LC 500) or a 299 hp 3.5L V6 petrol-electric hybrid powertrain (LC 500h).
The LC Yellow Edition will be displayed on the Lexus stand at Paris Motor Show in October.
