Porsche has introduced the most powerful and fastest 911 of all times – the 2018 911 GT2 RS in India, priced at Rs 3.88 Crore ex-showroom, Pan India. The car made its global debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, over a year ago.
The car makes an extensive usage of carbon-fibre reinforced plastic to cut down weight. Porsche claims that the car weighs 1,470 kg with a full fuel tank. There is also an optional Weissach package that further cuts down 30 kg.
The 3.8-litre flat-six biturbo makes 515 kW or 700 hp and 750 Nm of torque – 80 hp and 50 Nm more than its 2010 predecessor. A 7-speed PDK sends power to the rear wheels. The car also has rear axle steering.
The 2018 911 GT2 RS can sprint from 0-100 km/h in 2.8 seconds and can reach a top speed of 340 km/h. Read more here. The car has also set a Nurburgring lap time of 6:47.3. More on that here.
