The Ford Freestyle was officially previewed earlier this year, and the product microsite is now live. Let’s take a look at its features, variant wise.
Dubbed as “India’s first Compact Utility Vehicle (CUV)”, the Ford Freestyle comes in 4 variants – Ambiente, Trend, Titanium and Titanium+. As always, the higher variant adds all the equipment of the lower variants and gets more or a better equipment –

Powertrains
The Ford Freestyle is offered with a choice of 1.2L petrol or a 1.5L diesel. The petrol is a 1,194 cc 3-cylinder unit, producing 96 PS of power @ 6,500 rpm and 120 Nm of torque @ 4,250 rpm. On the diesel side, there is a 1,498 cc 4-cylinder turbo, delivering 100 PS of power @ 3,750 rpm and 215 Nm of torque @ 1,750-3,000 rpm. Both engines are paired to a 5-speed manual transmission.
Fuel efficiency is claimed at 19 km/l and 24.4 km/l for petrol and diesel, respectively. The petrol Freestyle’s Kerb weight is 1026-1044 kg while the diesel Freestyle weighs 1062-1080 kg.
