Triumph India has added the Tiger Explorer XCx to its Adventure & Touring range of motorcycles, price at Rs 18.75 lakh ex-showroom, Pan India. The bike will be imported to India as a CBU.
The Tiger Explorer XCx is powered by a 1215 cc inline 3-cylinder liquid cooled engine, producing 139 PS/137 Bhp @ 9,300 rpm and 123 Nm of torque @ 6,200 rpm, paired to a 6-speed gearbox. The bike gets Ride by Wire system.
Features include LCD display, three Riding Modes (Road, Rain, Off Road), windscreen adjustment, heated grips, switchable ABS, cruise control, traction control, and self-cancelling LED indicators.
Front suspension is a 48 mm upside down forks with electronically adjustable damping, while the rear is a monoshock with electronically adjustable semi active damping and automatic preload adjustment.
Front brakes are 305 mm discs with Brembo 4-piston calipers, while the rear is a single 282 mm disc with Nissin 2-piston sliding caliper.
