Let’s take an in-depth look at the recently launched Renault Kwid Climber. If you didn’t know yet, the Kwid Climber is a production version of the Climber Concept that was displayed at the Auto Expo 2016.
The production version might look a bit different than what was displayed as a concept at the Auto Expo last year, but I think the idea behind the Climber was to enhance the SUV looks. Because, the Concept almost looked like a crossover.
So, the production version tastefully integrates the colours and gets an aggressive bumper design with faux skid plates, and a traditional SUV like alloy wheel design.
Interiors are done tastefully as well with the orange accents and ‘Climber’ branding on the steering wheel, seats and on the floor mats. As you might know already, the Climber is based on the top end 1.0 litre RXT trim, so you get the 7.0 inch touchscreen infotainment with navigation as well. What I like about this touchscreen is that it doesn’t look like an afterthought or an aftermarket fitment, it is so very well integrated. And also, the touch responsiveness seems to have improved.
There is no mechanical changes whatsover, the rest of the car is the same Kwid that Indians love so much. Watch the video embedded way above, and make sure to subscribe to my YouTube channel if you haven’t already!

It doesn’t appear like a hatchback at all but much like a mini-suv. There could be features in climber that competitors can strongly compete for but when it comes to design Climber is unbeatable!
