Ford India has launched the ‘Sports Edition’ of its Figo hatchback and Aspire compact sedan, priced at Rs 6,31,900 and Rs 6,50,900, ex-showroom Delhi, respectively. The Sports Edition of both models are based on the Titanium trim, and mainly feature visual upgrades.
Figo Sports Edition
The Figo Sports Edition on the exterior features honeycomb grille, smoked headlamps, blacked-out roof, blacked-out ORVM, ‘S’ decal on the doors, rear spoiler and 15-inch Panther Black alloy wheels. Exterior color options include Sparkling Gold, Ruby Red, Absolute Black, Ingot Silver and Oxford White.
The Figo Sports’ black interiors feature red contrast stitching on the seats and on the gear knob.
Aspire Sports Edition
Compared to the Figo Sports, the Aspire Sports doesn’t get much changes. On the exterior, it features black grille, smoked headlamps, ‘S’ decals on the door and 15-inch silver alloy wheels. The Aspire Sports can be had in seven exterior colors – Ruby Red, Absolute Black, Deep Impact Blue, Ingot Silver, Sparkling Gold, Oxford White and Smoke Grey.
The Aspire Sports’ interior is all-black with a contrast stitching on the seats and on the gear knob.
Both Figo Sports and Aspire Sports are available with 1.2 Ti-VCT petrol and 1.5 litre TDCi diesel engines with output figures remaining the same as the regular models. Both engines are paired to a 5-Speed manual. The 1.5 litre petrol engine which is paired to a dual-clutch automatic transmission is not available with the Sports Edition.
Ford claims to have tuned the suspension of the Sports Editions to match its name.

The launch of Sports Editions is yet another stride in our commitment to introduce products that customers want and value and will help us further strengthen our position in in the segment and industry at large,” he added.
