Triumph Motorcycles has launched the Bonneville Bobber in India at Rs 9.09 lakh ex-showroom, Delhi. The Bobber is a new addition to Triumph’s retro-flavored ‘Modern Classics’ range, which includes Bonneville T100, Bonneville T120, Street Twin and Thruxton.
The Bobber is powered by the same 1,200 cc parallel-twin engine as the T120, but here it delivers more torque and power low down than the Bonneville T120, says Triumph. The engine produces 77 PS (76 bhp) at 6,100 rpm and 106 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm, up to 10% more power and torque than the T120. Graphs below.
The motorcycle features an adjustable riding position, which Triumph claims first-in-class. The aluminium seat pan can move up, down, forwards and backwards allowing you to tailor the seat position for a dynamic ‘up and forward’ ride, or a ‘down and back’ more traditional Bobber stance.
The Bobber gets ride-by-wire system, and features two selectable riding modes — Road and Rain. The two dedicated throttle maps can be selected via the handlebar-mounted switch gear. ABS, switchable traction control, torque-assist clutch are few more features.
There are 4 colors to choose from — Morello Red (Gloss), Competition Green and Frozen Silver (Gloss), Ironstone (Matt), Jet Black (Gloss). Besides the colors, lots of customization options are available as well.
