Toyota will soon be launching the Touring Sport, a more sporty looking variant of its popular MPV, the Innova Crysta. A similar one is called the ‘Venturer’ in the Indonesian market.
The Touring Sport will be based on the top-spec ZX variant, and is all about visual upgrades. The MPV will have body cladding all over, including the wheel arches, with chrome application on the bumpers and on the sides. The grille gets thinner chrome strips, and the headlamps have been blacked-out. The thick chrome bar which connects the tail lamps has been blacked-out as well. Blacked-out alloy wheels and a large rear spoiler completes the exterior changes.
Toyota had initially launched the Crysta with 17-inch alloy wheels, but later changed it to 16-inch due to the ride quality and tyre damage complaints. So the 16-inch ones with chunkier tyres are expected here as well.
Interiors are expected to carry subtle visual changes, and captain seats in the second row with Touring Sport badging.
