Lamborghini has silently launched the Huracan Spyder LP 610-4 today in India at Rs 3.89 Crore, ex-showroom, Delhi. The LP 610-4 Spyder is the third Huracan variant in India after the LP610-4 coupe and rear-wheel drive LP580-2.
Except the roof, the exterior/interior design and powertrain of the Huracan Spyder continues to be the same as its coupe sibling. The hydraulically controlled soft top roof can be opened or closed in 17 seconds at speeds of up to 50 km/h. The roof is available in black, brown and red. Another difference is, the Spyder weighs slightly heavier than the coupe and takes 3.4 seconds to reach the top speed of 324 kp/h, 0.2 seconds slower than its coupe sibling. The 2016 Huracan Spyder also features “cylinder on demand” – a cylinder deactivation technology, and a stop-start system to lower CO2 emissions. It also comes with three driving modes — Strada, Sport and Corsa like its bigger brother Aventador and its coupe sibling.
On the safety front, the Huracan Spyder comes with front dual stage driver airbag, front adaptive passenger airbag, seats with side airbags, ESP and ABS with different ESP characteristics managed by drive select mode
