As you probably know, the Volkswagen T-Roc Cabriolet is one of the very few options if you want an open-top jacked-up ride. And if you live in Europe, VW is offering the T-Roc Cabriolet Edition Grey—limited to 999 units. This limited edition builds on the R-Line trim and adds visual enhancements and additional standard features. It is in fact, available in two sub-variants: the Edition base spec is priced at €46,470 while the Edition Plus costs €51,600.
The Edition base spec gets you the Black Style design package with black trim strips, mirror covers and a rear spoiler. The door handles and T-Roc lettering on the rear are also in Deep Black. Black-painted 18-inch wheels in Grange Hill design round off the overall appearance.
Standard technical equipment includes IQ. LIGHT LED matrix headlights with Dynamic Light Assist; Discover Media navigation system (including Streaming and Internet); IQ.DRIVE driver assist package (includes Travel Assist semi-automated driving assistance, Lane Assist and Side Assist); winter package (includes heated steering wheel), and a rearview camera system.
Compared with the regular R-Line, the special-edition model is claimed to offer savings of up to €1,400. The aforementioned optional Edition Plus package gets you black 19-inch wheels in Suzuka design; Adaptive Chassis Control (electronically controlled damping system); Discover Pro navigation system, and BeatsAudio audio system. This one is claimed to offer savings of up to €2,400.
The T-Roc Cabriolet Edition Grey is powered by a 110 kW (150 metric hp) 1.5-litre TSI petrol engine coupled with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DSG.
