Lincoln has updated the Corsair SUV for the model year 2023 with subtle styling revisions and upgraded onboard technology. Order books are open now and deliveries will commence in early 2023. There’ll be three trims as before: Standard, Reserve and Grand Touring, with prices starting at $38,690, $43,075 and $53,385, respectively.
The photos here showcase the Reserve and Grand Touring trims. Styling revisions are mainly on the front fascia as you can probably tell. The grille appears to be taller now, underlined with a chrome applique, while the bumper has some kind of air curtains—although I’m not entirely sure if they’re functional or purely decorative. The fog lamps appear to be missing this time around. There are also new set of wheels, of course. Two new colors join the palette: Crystal Red and Whisper Blue; the latter is new to Lincoln.
For the interior, two new themes will be available: Smoked Truffle and Eternal Red, with the latter combined with aluminum accents. Other highlights include a larger 13.2-inch central touchscreen with SYNC 4 software (standard), while a 12.3-inch driver display now comes standard across all trims. A head-up display, a wireless charging pad and a 14-speaker Revel audio system are all optional extras. But don’t worry, a 10-speaker audio system comes standard.
As for other tech upgrades, there’s the Lincoln ActiveGlide 1.2, which as the name suggests, is something to do with hands-free highway driving. Here you can add optional features such as Lane Change Assist, Predictive Speed Assist, In-Lane Repositioning, and Intersection Assist 2.0. The last one helps the driver avoid potential collisions with pedestrians while at intersections.
As for the juicy bits of the story, the 2023 Corsair is gonna continue with a 186.5 kW (250 bhp/253.5 metric hp) 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo petrol engine coupled with an 8-speed automatic gearbox. A 2.5L 4-cylinder petrol-electric PHEV with a 198.5 kW (266 bhp/270 metric hp) combined output option is also available. The hybrid model remains to be all-wheel-drive. Ford didn’t mention the 2.3L turbo petrol option this time, suggesting discontinuation.
