MG Motor India has added the ‘Shine’ mid-range trim to its Hector lineup in the country, with prices starting at INR 14,51,800, ex-showroom, Delhi. Trim-wise ex-Delhi prices (in INR) are listed below —

As mentioned, Hector Shine is a mid-range trim with features including 17-inch alloy wheels, a single-pane electric sunroof (range-topping variants get a large panoramic sunroof), and a 10.4-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay & Android Auto connectivity. The Shine CVT variants get an electric parking brake, smart entry, push-button start/stop, chrome door handles, and telescopic steering.
Hector’s second anniversary in India is a perfect occasion to further strengthen its portfolio. The Hector offers a 105 kW (143 metric hp) 1.5L turbo petrol engine and a 125 kW (170 metric hp) 2.0L turbo diesel engine options. The petrol engine is also available with a mild-hybrid system. A 6-speed manual gearbox is standard, while the petrol engines can also be paired with a CVT or a DCT.
