Maruti Suzuki has updated its Swift hatchback for 2021, with prices starting at INR 5.73 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi. The Swift gets minor visual tweaks, new colors, and a mild-hybrid powertrain.

So, what’s new on the exterior? Well, it gets a new grille pattern with a chrome bar in the middle. The rest of the car remains exactly the same as before.
However, now there are three dual-tone paint options: Pearl Arctic White with Pearl Midnight Black Roof, Solid Fire Red with Pearl Midnight Black Roof, and Pearl Metallic Midnight Blue with Pearl Arctic White Roof.
Depending on the trim, feature list includes LED projector headlights, LED running lights, LED taillight signatures, auto-folding ORVMs, and 15-inch alloy wheels.
Features in the cabin include a 7-inch Smartplay Studio central touchscreen, Android Auto & Apple CarPlay connectivity, 4.2-inch MID, auto AC, and cruise control. Safety features include front fog lamps, dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, Brake Assist, ESP, Hill Hold Assist, rear parking sensors, and a rearview camera.
Powering the 2021 Swift is a 1.2-litre (1,197 cc) 4-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine combined with a mild-hybrid system. The output figures are 66 kW (90 metric hp) at 6,000 rpm and 113 Nm (83.3 lb-ft) of torque at 4,400 rpm. Compared to the outgoing model, there’s 7 metric hp more. The engine can be paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox or a 5-speed AMT.
