After launching the X3 M earlier this month, BMW has now launched the X5 M Competition in India, priced at INR 1,94,90,000 (US$ 263,556) ex-showroom, Pan India. The crossover is being imported into the country as a completely built-up unit (CBU).
The new X5 M Competition made its global debut over a year ago. Features list includes adaptive LED headlights (Laserlight optional), panoramic glass roof, high-gloss roof rails, and M light-alloy wheels measuring 21-inch at the front and 22-inch at the rear.
The cabin features M Multifunctional front seats, 4-zone climate control, BMW Live Cockpit Professional (two 12.3-inch displays), Head-Up Display with M specific view, Harman Kardon audio system, and safety features such as airbags, ABS, Dynamic Stability Control (DSC), Tyre Pressure Monitoring and so on.
Options list includes a rear seat entertainment system with two tiltable screens, and Bowers & Wilkins Diamond surround sound system. Download the brochure here.
Powering the X5 M Competition is a 4.4-litre (4,395 cc) V8 twin-turbo petrol engine that pumps out 460 kW (625 hp) at 6,000 rpm and 750 Nm (553 lb-ft) of torque between 1,800-5,600 rpm. The engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic gearbox that drives all four wheels via xDrive AWD system. In case you’re wondering, the non-Competition model makes 25 hp less.
